With uber 1. you can quit 2. Organize a work stoppage for a few hrs on a designated day nationwide. Say 5- 9 on a Friday PT 8-12 ET. It doesn't have to be a day long thing. Would everyone do this. Probably not. 75% would get Uber's attention!!!!

If you've ever been in the military, or know somebody who has then you might know that they say the time to really worry is when the soldiers stop complaining. As to your great idea of organizing Uber drivers. It's been tried unsuccessfully many times. :frown: Organizing Uber drivers to do anything together is considerably harder than "herding cats". For whatever reasons, the only real successes has been on the West Coast. Nevertheless, best of luck that you are the one who makes it work. :smiles:

I drive Uber in DC and just happened to be in Albany yesterday and was glad to see a Lyft sticker on a car at TGI Friday's. As usual, TGI Friday's sucked but that's another story. Anyway, Uber is like someone you date but know you'll never marry because you can barely tolerate their shanigans. Lyft is better but has about 15% of the market and precious few bonuses for part time drivers. So Uber is the game to play (and Lyft too) but never be surprised at the lengths Uber will go to in order to screw drivers over. It's like a asking a snake to stop biting...it can't because it's in its nature.

Upstate Drivers receive .77 per mile no matter if they drive a Kia or Porsche. Downstate is $2.87 per mile. Upstate seems a bit laid back in terms of these rates. No one will step up and fight. They prefer to settle for less than...

Rideshare strike in Albany this Saturday 9/29 from 5pm thru 5am Sunday. Anyone caught driving for Uber or Lyft will be punished accordingly.

It’s hard to truly organize a work stoppage. Deactivation is always hanging over our head. Unfortunately Uber can create just about any excuse. Lyft is much better for drivers and riders. I had suggested giving a free ride to Uber ...Lyft is always giving 25% off rides. I got a nice jacket from Lyft after 1000 rides. Uber 10000+ rides......nothing. Not even a statement...nice job.

Nothing as of yet unfortunately.

Best thing you can do is drive is careful as possible and keep your head on a swivel.
