I started getting UberASSIST pings last night.

Don't know why I started getting them all of a sudden. I was signed up for it in the Palm Springs market a while ago, but I wasn't aware that it counted for Los Angeles now. Oh well.

I figured I'd be helping out people with crutches or folding wheelchairs or something. The reality is that I get comically long ping times (you will never see 18 minutes to Santa Monica anywhere else) from people who speak English as a second language. Maybe the "ASSIST" means something different in other languages?

Overall, seems like a bust... and something else to ignore.

I'm green with envy.
