how do you find 24/7 eats and bathrooms?

Other than the 24/7 McDonald's, Dunkin Donuts, Diners that are actually 24/7, what else are there that's open 24/7? As for bathroom breaks, I either go to alleys and or parking lots. There are some truck stops here and there that are open 24/7 but it's still a 20 minute ride. Gas stations do have bathrooms too. I was wondering if hotels/motels allow non customers to use their restrooms?

I keep a Gatorade bottle and a towel in the trunk and just pull over every half hour or so. Minimizes offline time.

It's scenic, 24/7, quiet, privacy and healthy. You might want to bring your own toilet paper.

I have to sit down to pee, so I am picky. I go to Quick Trip. Food and clean bathrooms. And they earned even more of my respect by actually directing traffic in their parking lots during the gas shortage.

I always liked the QT in Hutchins on Wintergreen Road at I-45. :smiles:

Empty 2-liter bottles are your friend. Fill one up, proceed to nearest trash can. Also purchase air freshener if concerned about relative odor.

If you're in a rush then finding a really isolated location can be difficult. Many restaurants and stores maintain 24-hour video surveillance. Hotels often lock their doors after 11 pm. Unless really isolated, you cannot be 100% sure that someone will not drive by at the worst possible time. :frown:

Many drivers prefer the plastic cup solution. 100% quick availability. Easier if you are male. Do, unseen, in your car. Open the door to pour out. Reduce the smell by rinsing with water then pour out again. Roll down the windows to air out the car while driving onto the next ping.

I never had pee emergencies bwfore until I started driving uber. When I leave my house I grab a large coffee mug. It seems that about 90 minutes later I need to pee and sometimes I need to go like right now. In the last 2 weeks around 3am I have gone in a cup in the car, side of highway, behind a portojohn (damn thing had a lock on it), in a walmart, casino, parking lot of hotel in the unlit corner, sheetz, side of road, side of highway, portojohn in random parking lot.

I should probably stop the coffee as I am fine the rest of the night.
