How are your New Rates Earnings?

That was supposed to be a $27 ride pre-Uber rape. Imho, I will make even more with the rate cuts. I find ways to work smarter, not harder. I really thought at $1.85/mi, it turned off locals. As each month rolls by, more and more Vegas residents will catch on to Uber, especially being much cheaper than taxis and black sedans.

6 Hours, 7 rides. $35.90. This can't be life. 4 rides came from my awesome staging spot (which I'm giving away because I quit this week)... In N Out on Tropicana, but were all short and less than $5.50. I am very disappointed. I hope I can qualify for this guarantee. It's the only way to make it over breakeven.

I just had 5 rides. Normally that would be at least a cool $50. Small casino to casino trips. I have yet to break $30. My last one was $4.50. I even had a ride that I made $2.30 on. This is not working.

Yesterday, I had 6 fares including a cancellation for $33 in 5 hours from my house. The volume in the burbs have increased.

The lokals got away from uber when they did their outragus surge prices I had one ride the second week from cromwell to 215 and 95 in henderson and the rate was over $120 uber x not xl if that was you would you use uber again? Now you can go there for $20 but it's too late you can't make a living driving only lokals because you're going to have the old retired folks that stay away from the strip and they will get some rides plus it's not a guarantee that the lokals will go far most of the time in short rides like wallmart to home 1 mile away or a lokal bar to home again 1 to 2 miles there is a reasone cab drivers don't like to leave the strip because most rides are short and you wait long time and get a short ride

It's an insult and embarrassing joke. Who wants to let a stranger in there car and drive them around for less then $5 over and over again w no thanks and no tip

We are about our money here in Vegas! I know Uber reads these threads, so here's what I have to say.....You will not last long here in Vegas with these type of rates. I usually don't say much on here, but this has to change in order for you guys to continue to do business here successfully. Our mentality is not the same as in other cities. We are a different beast. I suggest that you guys create a better incentive plan, add a tip option and increase the rates. The customer does not care about the per mile rates. All they want is peace of mind, a clean car, a safe ride and someone who can speak English.
As one of your top drivers i can tell you that you are doing a disservice to both your customers and drivers. Most of us are in the service industry already so you have a ready made trained army of drivers that know how to give great service. Take care of us and we will take care of you! Bada Bing Bada Boom!! SINcerely, Las Vegas

I totally agree! I thought the old rates were way more cheaper than the Cab rates. And i never had any riders complained about the new rates. Both drivers and riders were happy with it. With the old rates and without the surges (which we barely and rarely seen them anyway), i was happy.
And now? I'm speechless.

I think we all want to see Uber succeed, but they are not going to be able like this. It's kind of like watching a baby learn how to walk and trying to catch him from falling. :frown:
