The document references silicon valley but doesn't mention SF or east bay - was that not included or perhaps they're applying the same percentage changes to all regions?
My assumption is each individual driver will get an email pretty soon with a rate cut specific to their areas.

I am somewhat surprised it was this quickly. I thought they would give it some time to see what the response was from the drivers. How many quit, how many started using their platform more often, time to estimate how many rides Uber lost, etc.

Nope. I get more passive aggressive hate mail and pink puffy cloud p/r garbage mail than I care to read.
None of it informed me of the rate changes. When I complained of this i got: ‘Sorry you didn’t receive the email. By agreeing to Lyfts TOS you already agreed to future changes’.

... so there’s that.
