Isn't Florida famous for it's price gouging just prior to hurricanes? I'm pretty sure the first time I ever heard the term price gouging it was referring to Florida lol

Florida (and Texas) would have much more gas, and drinking water if they'd allow free market to determine the price.
If someone is willing to pay that for water -- why should nanny government stop the transaction. Better to go thirsty?
What's so bad about making money?
Believe me, it never used to be illegal to be profitable.

Free market principles will deliver all the gas and water you need in an area.
Believe this: when $20 per gallon gas is allowed, there will be LOTS of gas available.
Some truck driver with the right kind of trailer will say: "Yea, I will put out $25k of my own money to fill that trailer, AND I will risk life and equipment to profit $250k." And the gas will get there.

It's just like what we do driving Uber. The price is set artificially low, and we been whining about it for months. If I'm the worst kind of human, then Travis K must be the best.

Artificial price supports cause shortages. They do not benefit human life or quality of life - it has the opposite effect.
Ask anyone who's had experience trying to rent an apt in a rent control city.
Ask anyone who lives in a rent control apt how hard it is to get landlord to do repairs or maintenance - he can't afford to.

Capitalism rocks.
Freedom rules.

Really? Am I being shown the door?
"We don't want YOUR kind here." LoL.
I've heard that before.

California is the Socialist Mecca for the country ... well, one of the top five anyway. I would think that the left coast would fit right into your clan, comrade. What I am preaching is free market enterprise, definitely NOT a California thing. True free thought is only allowed in San Francisco if it fits in with everyone else's version of free thought.

Go back to Cuba, or Venezuela.
Prices are low on products you can't get.
Higher prices are illegal.
