Do we need to pay GST on Toll?
As example: Customer paid AUD50 for OLA trip including $10 Toll.
So do i need to pay GST on $50 or $40?

You just pay GST on $50 than use toll as expenses also you can claim back $10 GST on the toll which is $0.90

The replies above are so wrong. You already paid GST for the toll when you pay the toll.
You collected GST for $50, you paid GST for $10 toll(it is inclusive of GST and you can claim GST credit on it), so you just need to remit GST for $40.
The toll is totally transparent to the ants in terms of GST and income.

On the invoice to pax you are liable for GST on entire bill, yes you can claim an input credit when you pay your toll bill

Pay GST on $50

Fare ex GST: 36.36
GST on Fare: $3.64
------------------------
TOTAL $40.00

Toll ex GST: $9.09
GST on Toll: $0.91
--------------------------
TOTAL $10.00

GST Collected = $3.64 + $0.91 = $4.55
GST Spent = $0.91
GST Liability = $3.64

You get a credit back for the GST on expenses so you are in effect only paying GST on the $40 fare.

Don't complicate things.

Just enter all revenue incl. GST received, then enter all expenses incl. GST - it will balance out to the correct number.

It would say if they edited it
Not necessarily. I haven't read the thread or answers but an answer (post) has a period of 'grace' - I can't remember if it is two minutes or five - where the poster can edit his / her answer and the "last edited dialogue" will not appear.

After that period, it will show "last edited x minutes ago" up to the new two hour limit where the post is effectively locked and cannot be edited or deleted by the original poster.
