Geico policy CANCELLED

    Reason: Vehicle "is used to carry passengers for hire or compensation"

    Any credit reports where you declared Uber as additional income, like a car loan?

    It's really about the car, which they identified by the year and VIN then stating it is "used to carry passengers for hire or compensation".

    Therefore they will cancel the policy for it.

    So it's not about the fact that they know I'm an Uber driver. It's that they find out the particular vehicle (which they're insuring) is being used as such.

    I assume you mean a medallion. Limos, Pmc's, buses and taxis don't have business licenses

    How exactly did they find out? Did Uber report it to them or did you apply with your VIN somewhere?
