FAKE PLATE?

So I saw this genius today on a local supermarket parking lot.

Did I miss something? Or does this person actually think that he can print out a fake plate and it's gonna be fine because the letters/numbers match his actual plate?

I'm assuming it is his licence number, and that if a cop stops him,he would have his original plates inside the car.Not sure if there is a rule that you have the standard ones displayed and no other exception.

Yep this won't last long on their car. And if he does not have the originals in the trunk and can change them the car will be towed off the road until the proper plates are put back on. With the sticker.

If you look closely you will see there's no screws to hold the plate and license plate renewal sticker sticked on the black frame and little bit on plate which is not practical.

So at the end another fake news from a person who didn't receive ping for past 1hr.
