You beat me to the punch Wombat7! How've you been doing anyway?
Except for a new transmission (almost said "@@@@@@" but I'm sure Maxx would've jumped on the opportunity) closely followed by a brake job, life's been good. I'm controlling my hours worked much better thanks to the tip sign and some strategic location adjustments at different times of the day. I'm learning to cherry pick ( not by calling) the strategic pool rides at the same odd hours that I like to work. Also per request, I'm reviewing the site's TOS and learning not to think of them as ROE.

Seth, may I be a little nosy: how'd it go with your car?

Thanks so much for asking! To answer your question, things are finally coming together. Insurance was an absolute nightmare. It took nearly two months just to get my car set up for repairs due to the drunk girl's insurance (Mercury) not willing to work with me due to her low coverage. On top of that, James River (Uber's insurance company) was dang near impossible to get ahold of in order to get the ball rolling on repairs, claims, etc. But alas, the car should be ready to be picked up today or tomorrow after being in the shop the past two weeks. I have to pay a $1,000 deductible and then have the car inspected by Uber before I can get back on the road.

Good news.

Glad to see you'll be rejoining the forces of good.

Welcome back.
