Earn at least $10 per pickup for your time at LAX

Uber, it is time to remove the Uber Commission or just raise the rates.
These band-aid ideas are not the real solution.
Investment dollars are sufficient for Uber, let the drivers take home all their money.

We know your time is valuable. To thank you for the time you put into driving at LAX, we’re guaranteeing you will take home at least $10 per LAX pickup from the Designated TNC Airport Assignment Area from today until October 31. Now, you can feel confident knowing that you’re getting the most out of your time.

Note: because your earnings from this offer will be paid out once a week on Tuesday, your trip statement won’t be adjusted in real time.

Uber receives
Service Fee
Booking Fee

just reviewed an LAX pickup
Again - Those are not "Commission". Review the May 22, 2017 addendum. Nowhere in the addendum is the word commission (or Surge or Boost).

Insulting that they think this would matter.
Lyft is just as insulting:

"We know that short rides can be frustrating, so if you head back to the airport queue now you may qualify for a higher spot in line."

This tells me both companies know they are ripping off drivers with the craapy pay on short rides but only seek to put a band aid on them instead of paying a fair rate.

If driver go back to airport after that message, driver will get another short ride again
