Deserves attention, very good info. My biggest takeaway is how lyft changed the game and what an integral role they played in getting the ridesharing movement started. I wasn't aware that lyfts pay structure was "donation" based when they first started. It was implenented not because they were a small, hippie company, but to skirt local laws. It wasn't until middle of 2013 when UberX was introduced, almost a year after lyft came on the scene.
