Was wondering what the app off drivers did..

Change the current topics a bit ?

After work, instead of rushing to drive my pm shift, finally got around to defrosting some pork chops I’ve had for months.

Yum! Well seasoned pork chop, with some mushroom and onions, over some white rice mixed with choclo... all the juices and flavor getting on said rice.... popped open a couple of blue moons and watched the sharks win game 7, stressful and fun, good day off imo.

We should strike more often!

Whatchu do homies?

I drove from 12pm-7pm made $150 16 rides. Met up with friends to watch the warriors Win while shooting pool. Then ended the night winning $550 on Craps. Took today off because of that lol

Was sick for the first time in probably 3 years. Still am sick at home, but have driven a little bit because this is my only source of income. If I didnt have family helping me out, i'd probably be living in my car right now.

My plan on May 8th was to not drive for a good chunk of time. I did that. So I guess I kinda accomplished something.

In regards to the protests, anyone that showed up you deserve a medal.

Maaaan ... I love craps, I’ve had some legendary rolls
Not me. Was in Vegas recently and crapped out twice in my first two rolls. The first two! Back to back craps. The guy who pushes the dice towards you with the stick hollered out "DAMN!" after I crapped out the second time and the other table workers fell out laughing.

I drove lyft for 6 hours while angry and flying off at the mouth about the whole industry and the platforms. Some pax were uncomfortable, some were annoyed, some were "damn straight". One pax even mentioned "do you always drive this angry?" to which i replied, "this is not angry, this is actually a normal day." "just a dose of sugar free truth"
Also, had the privlage of showing up to a pickup that looked like casual carpool with 7 folks waiting for rideshare/public trans, of which one was my pax and the @@@@@ had the nerve to invite her two neighbors for a free ride to bart. I was pissed, so I told them they all had to sit in the backseat (3 deep) in sub-compact hatch. Also they didnt appreciate my window being down 6 inches, because i did not close it after they asked. I told them "sorry i have to breath, windows stays where it is." "You will be fine its a short ride anyways (4 minutes)." Kicking them out would have been to typical. So I gave them my version of a shared/pool ride. Sardines. 3.75 doesnt even get someone on the strip pole, let alone naked. these muthasuckas......

I have unconventional methods, thats why i enjoy rideshare.

I drove over to Ocean Beach and took a selfie with a dead whale. Could've done the same thing on Market St but didn't want to get stuck in traffic.

It's a thing now - taking selfie pics with dead animals.

Females taking selfies in dangerous situations are the new reality. How many must die for insta photos. Smart phone control is more important than gun control.

Damn dude! Hardcore... haaaardcore. Wish I had the balls to be like that sometimes. Sounds a little petty, but one of my main peeves doing rideshare is paxes that take things for granted and are rude, their attitude makes the ride...if they assume they are now the boss of me and my car for 5 bucks.... @@@@ that

My friend told me that he had a 30min hot roll once in vegas. I played poker that day and won $200
I like to play in a small hobo casino in Reno. Western village, it’s not dirty or shady, but literally, the homeless play craps there because it’s the only place I know that has $1 craps.
Last time I was there, played for over five hours and made $55 bucks, heh. I’m more of a gamer than a gambler

I do what I can do, when I can do it. Just catch me on Tuesday or Wednesday where my longest trip of the day is berk to OAK airport, smh. I’m pretty bent out of shape sometimes. Remember drivers aren’t always the therapist, pax got to put in work too sometimes and just be a listening ear to purge frustrations. I wish this was funny to me,but I’m all business.

Also I got to give you props on this:
“their attitude makes the ride.” My philosophy from the beginning has been “all about the approach and I’m just a mirror of pax and the way they choose to set the tone.

Sometimes passengers are so wound up on being so slick and smart and all that stuff that they forget how easy it is to get whatever they desire if they just know how to approach/ask for it. if they want to drink in the car, ok just be upfront and ask, now on the flip side, if they sneak a bottle in, they go right back to their previous state; curbside.

You are right it is petty, but it leaves me w little choice. When Lyft backs me into a hard spot in the app, I simply pass the hot potato to the pax, naturally. Sheet always rolls downhill, lol.

Lyft/Uber lead by example you cowards. Every dog has its day (myself included)....just wait.
Thanks for the support FAM!

I always think of fellow ants when I’m angry, gives me motivation. Also I’m the knucklehead that throws a peace sign randomly to other ants, but rarely get one back, so I’m not a bad person, just like everybody else I have my diva moments! I really like to have fun while combing the streets for snowflakes on the daily.
