It'll cost me $40 in gas to get there from SD to start with. And $40 in gas to get back.

We all should go there an order short rides from each other LOL.
I agree with the above strategy. Lol. Max appears to be 20 rides per day. So regardless of cost to get there and back if we can max out 20 rides then bounce we'll be just fine. Ha

I wonder what they will charge the customers for minimum rides...$40?

Yeah let's go guys. Make $40 and go to the casino, put in down on 22 on roulette and maybe not need to drive the rest of the day.

I think Uber's planning on taking a bath on this one to make sure Lyft fails. Uber seems to have been capitalizing on Lyft's reluctance to offer PT to convert people back to Uber by making Lyft pax suffer.

I don't know. I do only Lyft airport rides at SAN since Uber doesn't want my older car. Lots of other drivers are in the same boat. Lyft doesn't surge much, but when they do it's a lot better than the fixed surge on Uber on a medium to long ride.

I bet Lyft will come out with some kind of promotions for Coachella now that they know what Uber is offering.

Click the promo details. $40 for up to 20 trips.
First trip will take you back to Compton LOL.

Gahhh. Its so tempting... but just thinking about the traffic and the sweaty drugged up 20 year olds make me nauseous
Might not be so bad if you're single.

I kid, I kid.

I don't think it will work. They'll have a queue type thing set up to match pax to drivers.

Let’s see if we can dream some:

Everyone would turn off the app when the get to the end of the line. While they are creeping towards the front of the line, they keep the app off. Drivers don’t turn on the app until they are within two cars of getting the ride. Flat surge hits $20 plus the bonus $40 ride. Each ride gross is north of $70 and each ride NET around $56. Six hour window would net close to $220 for short rides.

Boy do I love to dream.
