Instead of increasing the boundary why can’t they increase it to £50 per day if they are so desperate to reduce traffic

Every possible thing being done to squeeze private hire drivers out of central London and beyond
Not really. Quite opposite.
CC was introduced to lower the amount of vehicles coming into central London. So now, everyone who lives within N/S Circular will be able to drive into central London as will have a, at least I hope, resident discount.

Hope they shoot themselves on the foot by extending the zone. With residents discount Almost all cars within the zone will be residents happy days for phd.

Unfortunately they wont. If they extend the cc zone, the residents of the outer zone will still have to pay to enter central london.

Number of ph is out of control from 59k 2010 to over 111k just madness, it was predicted long ago
Anyway ph driver are happy to pay it TfL know that even if TfL increase CC to £50 a day you will see unlimited number of pruis cruising in central London
