If you are of the opinion that Uber treats its independent-contractor-drivers poorly then consider what is done to their employees. I wonder if the Greenlight Hubs are any better.

How do you think the new Uber logo was created. . . From someone headrushing while sitting in their bathroom ! Staring at floor tiles.
If you know the symptoms,you can diagnose the cause.
I have diagnosed these symptoms years ago in these forums.

This keeps getting better and better.
Not when you're waiting an hour between rides.
None of this helps any of us get Fair Pay !

Travis MUST take action at once !
1.) Immediate drafting of company policies,regarding hiring,retainment promotion. Even if he has to outsource at first. Absolute equal enforcement of Implemented Policy.
2.) Workplace conduct Guidelines
WITH workplace training. In house.
From top to bottom. Include / make it mandatory for drivers even if auditoriums have to be rented !
( minimum of printed handbooks with acknowledgement signature contract from drivers,Extensive training for management)
No sexism racism from upper management or drivers ! Make it public and make it IMMEDIATE !
3.) FREE DRUG/ ALCHOHOL CONSULING FOR MANAGEMENT PERSONEL. Management is stressful with long hours. Employees will seek a " boost" Drug education with CONSULING must be made available. Warning,give them time,gradual implementation.
4.) Grievance CONSULING for work related and personal management hurdles. Come in and talk before you screw up.( the manager who started this " event" had personal relationship difficulties,regardless of high technical skills & performance,this could have been recognized and isolated)
It will cost,but the long term benefits will be worth it.

Uber corporate is fast paced expanding demanding work.
Some employees are irreplaceable.
They must be educated,aware and held to standards of behavior.
This is not a ship wreck,just a flaw in the hull. FIX IT !
Ego & Cocaine are a bad combination to deal with stress and long work hours.

Well he is the Face of Uber and the Media has thrown the Gauntlet.
Time to hustle up an assault team,form a jump squad and shape up the crew. He has a choice. Act or React. If he chooses correctly ,he will have proveable documented course of action answers to any and all accusations thrown. Uber is under 2 prong frontal and flank assault. Kittens ain't gonna get it.

A little morale boost for the troops would not hurt.( not insulting Uber stickers,we need $$$).

Most BIG Corporations dealt with these Exact same problems decades ago. Research it.
This out fit sprung up hard and fast.
Growing Pains.

A good study of Corporate strategy and Corporate history can reveal future potential concerns of Uber long before they arise.
No need for Uber to experience it all first hand. Study the mistakes of those who came before.

One of the most memorable weekends of my life was spent with a stewardess (yea, that's what they called them back then), a case of champagne, and an eight ball of coke.
Made it to work Monday morning, on time.

That's a great jacket. I wonder how many know what an eight-ball is.
For those who are uninformed about drug culture ... it is one-eighth of an oz.
That is a LOT of coke. Enough to hurt yourself if you don't know how to play with it.

Problem today is, its almost impossible to find good coke. It has been stepped on so much ... and may contain drugs that really are bad for you (methamphetamine).
I'm too old for that these days anyway. I take drugs to keep my blood pressure down. A couple of lines would prolly make my head explode.
Haven't done coke in decades. *sigh*
