Someone else posted how more than one law can cover any particular weapon. It's all in the technicalities. It may be legal to purchase and own, but maybe not to carry?

Take a word of advice & don't risk it by carrying any weapons in your cars here in the People's Socialist Republic of NJ. This is an anti 2nd Amendment state with no "self defense" defense to an attacker if you have no "Avenue of escape". Only police officers have no "Duty to Retreat" from an attacker.
Bottom line, no knives with a blade longer than 4" and even then, you better make sure you have an affirmative defense like you use it for work purposes, ie, you're an electrician or work in the shipping/receiving dept at your local Amazon. Otherwise you can be charged for Unlawful Poss. Of weapon for even a small pocket knife in this Totalitarian state. And forget about stun guns. Even if your back is to the wall and you cant get away, and your attacker has a heart attack and dies after you taze him, be sure his family/survivors will take you to the cleaners with civil damages. You will also be dragged thru the emotionally & financially costly NJ legal system even if the jury acquits you. Lot of liability there.

In New Jersey only the police and criminals can defend themselves.. It is illegal for anyone else to dare to think about survival...
Pretty much. Police officers are immune from civil/criminal liability when using deadly force as long as they have Probable Cause. Uber drivers, not so much...

Because my .40 "baby" glock is small, light, easily concealable and still packs a wallop
My favorite hand gun is my Star Megastar 10mm
It is without a shadow of a doubt one if the most accurate hand guns I have ever fired. I own 7 pistols, and this one is about 3/4 the size of the Desert Eagle but in an Alessi shoulder rig it is hardly noticeable and fairly comfortable.
