NRMA Blue (the new name for the NRMA member benefits program) provides fuel discounts at participating Caltex service stations. (See https://www.mynrma.com.au/membership/benefits/caltex.)

The discount varies according to the type of fuel you buy.

A discount of 3 cents a litre applies to regular fuels including unleaded, E10 and diesel.

There's a discount of 5 cents a litre for premium fuels including Vortex Premium 95 and 98 and Vortex Premium Diesel.

The discount is limited to ONE transaction a day and to 120 litres a time.

It can't be used in conjunction with any other fuel discount or loyalty offer.

It's not available for commercial purposes or by NRMA purposes. (I'm not sure of the precise scope of the exclusion for 'commercial purposes'.)

To obtain the discount, you need to download the mynrma app and present the Q code at purchase.

It's instructive to compare the NRMA discounts at Caltex with those under Uber's Momentum benefits program. The Momentum discounts don't vary according to the type of fuel you buy.

Rather, bronze members obtain a discount of 4 cents a litre, silver 5 cents, gold 6 cents and platinum 8 cents.

The Momentum discounts are limited to two transactions a day and to 120 litres a time.

For details about the Momentum fuel discounts, see https://www.uber.com/en-AU/drive/resources/momentum-caltex-fuel/.

So a bronze Momentum member buying premium fuel would be a little better off using the NRMA app compared with the Momentum card.

The NRMA app also gives access to many other discounts including at Repco (10%), NRMA car insurance (5% to 25%), NRMA car service (10%) and Spotify. For the full range of discounts, see https://www.mynrma.com.au/membership/benefits/terms-and-conditions#Caltex.
