These bast#rds are taking the piss.

Blocked my account because I’ve been declining jobs that are out of my set radius or a non surge job while im in the centre of RED surge.

Spoke to a chap called andrew who said its a permanent block! How is this company even trading against self employment rights, I hope their license gets revoked.

Worst thing was when I asked him many drivers are being blocked permanently? He goes yes and many new drivers are joining every day, clearly they dont give a toss!

Uber is Boss, shows destination, and now even earnings, will always be No 1.

These gig companies go to countries. All nice talking, different offers, destroy the local market and then control workers like that.
Their main aim is to control the workers and the market. Its a honey trap. There was a solution but unfortunately we all didn't consider which was if local cab firms treated their drivers fairly and drivers and customers stayed loyal to their local firms then these companies had no chance but it did not happen and now game is out of our hands and in the hands of foreign companies who are earning millions from other countries and taking money out and putting in the pockets of rich investors. And algorithms are developed to penalise drivers of they don't obey the master and if algorithm is unable to do then fresh University leavers are their to deal with drivers
Wait till driverless cars come
Summary these companies are using us hang on before some uber or gig advocate comes with an answer "no one forces u"
Yes they don't force u but they create an environment and a trap which becomes the only choice for workers.

I’ve never understood why anyone would take this amount of crap from the cheapest of society and university graduates in the office deciding your future?

No one is forcing any of you to work for any operator ,so if you don’t like it / found some self respect, why not do something else?

Im an electrician by day and weekend nights I do a bit of PH to boost income, my father also does PH as his only source and it just annoys me that these companies are treating drivers like sh#t.

That's one way of looking at it.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think there is always a degree of arse kissing in whatever you do as a means of income. Be that arse kissing of clients, customers or even management.

Vote Labour.
And lose your buy to rents.
Part of me thinks the champagne socialists deserve a corbyn/mcdonnell government. A grafter like you deserves better though. Careful what you wish for.

I'm not happy with the status quo - need a radical change. Maybe Labour can do it.

PS: I heard Farage bottled it, i.e. not standing for election.

Assuming you mentioned right to buy and not rent?

If so that is one policy that has screwed up social housing in this country and made it scammers paradise though albeit now tenancy fraud being taken seriously.

You have councils paying way over the odds to house people in ex council properties.

No I meant buy to rents but I agree thatchers idea of selling off council houses was tragic. Continued by all subsequent governments.
It did give a big leg up to genuine working class tenants and made some very wealthy. Though the huge amounts of repossessions that followed possibly ruined just as many. It also opened up the farce of wealthy people buying 'their relatives' council houses. A huge social welfare mistake that will never be rectified.
