Yeah..

Buy a used Toyota Sienna for a few grand and use that instead.

You'll get XL trips and Beamers are crazy expensive to have in the shop 5+ times a year.

I like the electric I3.

For $16k used the giga trim is not too bad of a deal.

I am not planning to make a living with UBER, just want to do it as a side gig.

I can pay it off in 2 years with a $600 monthly payment.

So I need to clear $150 weekly to pay for the car.

It fits 3 passengers plus I (driver). So for those customers calling the I3 with too much luggage: "sorry, can't fill all of your crap in my tiny car, call an XL or get a regular taxi."

So basically I am looking to work 3 shifts of $50 each. Don't forget the car has a limited range of 120 miles.

Do you really want to be taking people around town in your nice BMW for .41 per mile?
If you do then that is your choice.

The Uber rates are going to go up. They are starting with London.

The current system will not survive unless they change

The new CEO will make it work...

Or maybe not?
