Average per hour

I used to average 1.25 trips per hour, $18 per hour or so. Now I average $5 per hour in Niagara Falls. What is the average salary per hour now? Do we keep 50 percent or 66 percent after gas and costs?

MIT says $3.99/hr USD. So $5 CDN?

Unless you already have a solid and reliable car, can work long/split hours and live close to the downtown core, you should NOT treat ride sharing as a FT job. Your better off getting a PT job with some benefits and do ridesharing on the side.

Oh. And don’t forget to set aside 30-40% of your pay each week for quarterly HST payback, income tax, CPP and savings.
