Uber, Lyft and others update their Apps frequently and randomly. It is best, but not required, to have the most recent application software update. The following suggestions are for Android users, but there are similar procedures for iPhone users.
- Check at least once-a-day, before you start.
- Open the Google Play Store application
- Swipe from left edge to the right to open a menu
- Select My apps & games. Updates will appear first.
- Just select Uber Partner (if it needs update) or select UPDATE ALL
- If there is insufficient space then delete unneeded Apps and use a "cleaner" App like "CM Light". Retry.
- If still insufficient space then use Settings/Applications to Manage Space of largest Apps. Retry.
- Restart Uber App
- Restart phone
- Relog into Uber App
- Restart phone
- Delete Apps not directly related to Uber.
- Install a "speed booster" App.
