A lot of 5 star pax lately

Anyone else notice a lot of 5 star pax lately when in the past it seemed like it was rare to have someone with a 5. I feel like they did a mass reset on a lot of pax accounts, smh. I actually really liked using the rating system to gauge what the passenger might be like to know what to expect.

Meanwhile after 3 years of driving my rating is slowly creeping down lately and I'm at 4.77 when I pretty much always maintained a 4.89. I'm sure deactivation is in the near future for me. Oh well.

I have noticed that.
80% of my Pax this past weekend were 5 star.
So I thought shit, let me go to my rider acc and try to see how to get my stars put back to five with a sob story about how I used to have five til my trips to Portland and Mexico! But there's nowhere on the app to beg to change your rating! If anyone knows how to change rider stars back please reply here! :rolleyes: :wink:

PS I liked your first paragraph. I felt the second paragraph was unnecessary. You should follow up your second paragraph as a comment rather. The first is general and relatable, the second is more personal and would be better as a comment :smiles:
Go to store, buy prepaid uber card or visa and a burner phone or go open a new line at whatever phone company you have and wahla, new account with 5*

I wouldn't worry about your driver rating too much until it drops below 4.7. My rating has always been kind of low because I drive a lot of drunk college kids.

You are right. This week , I had more than 50 percent riders 5 star and I spone to some of them and some of them said that they were not new

Go to store, buy prepaid uber card or visa and a burner phone or go open a new line at whatever phone company you have and wahla, new account with 5*
You just need a different card/number, a google voice number and different email with the same address and same name.

As I actually found out from a pax tonight. Congratulations were in order for having so many rides and a perfect 5 "oh I got a new phone number and just made this account with it. First ride on this one" I dropped the subject. Haha.

Uber started TV advertising for pax during football games.

Rohit will reset pax ratings. How the @@@@ else do you think a non tipper has a ~4.9 rating.

I think it's the fact that Uber continues to expand their reach and bring in new riders but I need to start asking the 5s to make sure.

I've actually noticed I've gotten a bunch of 5 star POOL PINGS lately. Never do I accept them, but I SEE yhem. That's pretty much an oxymoron (5-star pool pax? Yeah right!), so I was curious about that myself- honestly I've been baffled each time it appears on my phone! And you might be right-they could have re-set any @@@@@@@ that complained about their shitty rating - that is SUCH an Uber thing to do!! Omg I think you're on to something!! Holy crap!
