Drivers must pay GST from the first dollar. They must remit 1/11th or 9.09% of the total fare? If the total fare is $10.00, you remit $0.91, not $1.00 (before the facilitator's commission). The ATO has indicated that they will be actively monitoring bank accounts for payments from ridesharing, and checking if those individuals are complying with their rules.
