    Undetectable Non-Jailbroken/Rooted Location Spoofer SMH...

Met him 2 days ago to purchase his device, and I gotta tell you guys, “It’s legit”. I have never seen anything like this before. I tried using jailbroken iPhone, and the Uber Driver app keeps detecting the jailbroken device. I tried using Samsung, and use the Fake GPS app, but it won’t hold the...

Rider app- "live location share" feature absent

Hi. On the rider app, I am not seeing "share my location with driver" feature. I did check, I have all permissions enabled, latest app and Android update, but in Uber > Settings > Privacy > Location , the "Share my location" option does not appear. I followed up with Uber costumer service over...

Hudson County is a waste of time

Basically I came off a shift Making. I've been driving for 8 months and have a lot of insight to offer but just realized I've been a major dolt. I live in Montclair. I've spent most of my time in the surrounding areas which of course leads to Hudson County... Am I wasting my time in Greater...

Just a few questions for Chicago

I started driving in October as a part time gig and it was alright. I quit my job in December and started driving full time and it has been great until last week. It seems like without snow or rain it’s dead around here (Midway area) and even Lincoln Park area. So my questions to you guys are is...

When picking up and dropping off, do you drive onto rider driveway?

I have always been stuck on the fact that people don't like you driving on their driveway. I was wondering if most driver actually drive up to people's houses, instead of waiting for them at the curb.

    Where/ When? :)

Started working a couple of weeks ago. Had great Fri/ Sat night $$$, around Buckhead and Midtown. Unfortunately, on the regular days I just have no idea where to go to at least get customers (sometimes I just drive around and wait for more than 30 mins...). Where would the masters recommend me...

iPhone users rejoice! iOS 11 stops apps like Uber from always tracking!

But you'll have to wait a bit longer:( https://techcrunch.com/2017/06/07/ios-11-adds-while-using-the-app-for-all-apps-location/ iOS 11 stops apps like Uber and Waze from accessing user location data at all times by Jon Russell (@jonrussell) Apple put a heavy focus on improving iOS at its WWDC...

How far are you driving ?

    1) How far are you all driving to your WH/FC ? 2) How far are you driving during your individual blocks of time 2, 3 or 4 ? 3) What region are you working in? I'm pretty close to my center, about 15 minutes ... My 4hr blocks are about 15-25 miles, center to the end of my deliveries ... That...

Drivers seem to still be using the "spoofing" location hack to obtain the best spots

The next time you request a ride through Uber, you might wind up waiting longer than expected. http://www.wcpo.com/longform/phantom-uber-drivers-not-where-they-appear-to-be

    WTF Uber/Google?!?!?

For the second time in a couple of weeks, the Uber app and/or Google Maps has placed me over a mile away from where I was supposed to be. Pax was waiting outside her dorm for me, I thought I was supposed to be at a residence (this was unclear on the phone). The map sent me 1.7 miles on top of a...

Lyft throttles incoming requests as your nearing bonus. Guranteed. Blah

so. Doing the weak power driver bonus Lowest of them is the 80-40 for 185. Lol. (Sidenote: not everyone had their pdb cut. Some still have the lowest tier which is 75 still and apparently there are still people on a weekly gurantee of 1500. Awesome lyft. Just awesome. Throttling...

Uber dont put you near your gps coordinates even on road

I just discovered that uber don't put you close to your actual gps location anymore. They probably do this for safety reasons. Its off by a bit. See it yourself.

    How to get pings

Since being closest to the rider MO longer guarantees you get the ping I thought I'd share some techniques that still work to get a ping immediately. Swipe your credit card at a gas pump. Sit down on the toilet. Lite a cigarette. Take a road without anywhere to turn around. Pull into your home...

What area's do you try and avoid at all cost.

I have found certain areas the quality of the rider and the distance of the trip are very subpar. For a example if a ride takes me to dundalk.. I will shut off the app and drive back to canton area before turning it back on. Now can't be all negative... if you don't have a place to avoid...

    Apartment Complex (Why so complex?!)

People have been requesting Uber long enough to know better. Almost every time I pickup a pax at an apartment complex, they have put in the street address to the complex or to the main office and neglect the common courtesy or common sense to send a text with the specific building or unit number...

    Lyft Ad

Anyone see that ridiculous ad they're running (on NBCSN), presumably aimed at Uber, about safety. Could they be any more out of touch? Could they maybe spend that money paying the drivers more or how about updating their antiquated app? Give them credit though, at least their pickup PIN location...
