This is How An Electric Vehicle Can Work For RideShare

PAX: "Is this an EV?" Me: "Well, it is, until it isn't." This is the beginning of a conversation that I have at least 10 times a week with riders on LYFT. I certainly do not mind this conversation, as I started doing this side-hustle to maximize the utility of a depreciating asset (my car)...

    Prius Love

Especially in Urban markets, Prii seem to be the go-to econobox to haul pax. The driving experience is an acquired taste I've come to savor. I'd love to see how others have shown their Prius some love. Post your Prius! I'm rocking a Super Dirty 2012 Prius II in Winter Gray Metallic with 123k...

Just wanted to tell my story with UberXL, I started driving Uber/UberXL with a Chevy Trailblazer, I would get one or two uberXL a day if I was lucky, Some from the airport , But my big days would be the Chippewa/Allen street night crawls with a group of 5-6. Sometimes it seemed the pay was worth...

Just a few questions. I’ve researched the Hyrecar platform and although it is a bit buggy it does seem lucrative if utilized correctly. My main concern... is there any data showing the demand for cars to rent for ridesharing on Long Island? I have a few contacts that can get me hybrid vehicles...

    Prius or Camry Hybrid?

Hi, first time poster. Was curious to hear feedback on why/why not get either a Prius 2016 or 2017 Four Touring or a Camry Hybrid 2018. Figure the 2016 Prius would help with depreciation costs and is nicer looking than the 2017, but am thinking the Camry had more knowledge to work with given its...

So what car do you guys use? Also, how many kms per week on average? Anyone use a Prius? I drove cabs for a while and imo it would be the ultimate uber car to use. Fuel economy (obviously) was second to none. (Between 4 and 5 litres per hundred). It was also very roomy. I could fit 4...

Hey everyone: I'm thinking about trading in my 2011 Toyota Camry LE (135k miles) for a used 2014 Camry Hybrid (with about 30-50k miles). Cooler temperatures = better mileage?

I was just wondering how many hybrid drivers notice improved MPG's when temps are cooler in the IE? My Gen 2 Prius gets lower MPG's the more I run the Air Conditioner. Averaged 40 MPG during last heat wave with a new set of tires.
