  • Working for Uber is a self actualization moment. Pull the numbers add the hours, pax insults, we've all been had. Our vehicles and psyches both worn out. Capitalism hasn't just failed you but rather the entire democratic tradition. Collectively it is destroying and now collapsing what little decency there once was in the nation state. France may very well be the canary in the Neoliberal coal mine.
To cope with Anting, I like to take misfortunate situation that happens to me or my pax and try to tell it in a funny and entertaining way.
In the process of replacing the entire floor pan of my 1969 Bug and since it's a Wolfsburg Ed, I'm converting it back to right hand drive.
Yep that's why I post often in the New Jersey board. I'm looking to move to Fairfield NJ next year.

Thanks! That's Cherry Bomb. He's a 1969 bug. Right now I pulled the body off the floor pan and I'm replacing the entire pan. I also have a 1987 Jetta GLI, and a 2006 Golf GTI. My next purchase is the 81-84 Rabbit Pick Up truck. The bug wasn't nothing but a body on a pan when I bought it. I rebuild and restore all engine, and body work myself.

I used to have a 72 Super Beetle. Got fed up with the shimmey shaker. Was constantly redoing the front end alignment every time I went over train tracks. Sold it and got the bug for $200.
