  • Hey there Mr. Huberis,
You seem to be well-informed about the whole Uber thing, so I was wondering if you could answer a few basic questions for me.
Im considering leasing a car through the xchange program at $160/week.
    Qs
    1) If I drive 1000 miles a week, can it be profitable?
    2) Is it possible to drive 1000 miles/week?
    3) How many hours would that constitute?
    4) What is the surge?

1: look at what your $/mile averages out to be relative to paid/unpaid miles. Uber drivers can really get run around a town. 55-to 60% metered miles of total is what I would hope for.

2 and 3: Uber drivers can rack up the miles. That said, there will be days you only drive 12 to 25 miles in an hour.

4: a form of manipulating pax and driver.
