Has Uber given up on Eats.

I notice the same thing. From the other drivers waiting inside the restaurant to the receipts I see on the bags, Ubereats definitely has the majority. But from a driver's standpoint, there's definitely too many of us competing for those jobs.

Has Uber given up on Eats.

Actually, UberEats is doing better than their rideshare business. Or to put it another way, it's not losing as much money as rideshare.

    Free Food Megathread

First of all, why are you posting in this thread? Second, how are you 'using up' all those phone numbers?

    Hasta La Vista Boosts/Quests

Not a lot per trip, but over the course of a week, it adds up. For 100 deliveries, that's an extra 50 bucks.

    Hasta La Vista Boosts/Quests

Other apps are getting saturated as well and some just aren't doing that well. I used to have Postmates running alongside ubereats, but I haven't had a ping from them in so long that I no longer turn PM on. I think they are going to be the first one to fold or get absorbed into Doordash or...

    Hasta La Vista Boosts/Quests

Just noticed for the upcoming week in Bakersfield, boosts have now gone down from 1.2 to 1.1. One more increment lower and that will be the end of promotions. I haven't seen that in the year that I've been working.

    Ever Accidentally Decline An Order?

Under those rules, I'm guessing you do about 2 deliveries a day?

    NO MORE SALVAGE VEHICLES...

That's good information to have. Probably has something to do with their insurance company preferring not to insure salvaged title cars. I wrecked my first car that I used for ubereats almost a year ago today. It was a total loss because it was an older car, but I wanted to find something that...

    Hasta La Vista Boosts/Quests

Your market must have a driver saturation. That's usually the case when promotions are nixed, because they don't have to entice anyone to come out. There are still light boosts here in Bakersfield. I've never seen boosts completely gone in the year that I've been doing UE. Each market is different.

Beware of Dogs while delivering food.

I don't think a dude who whines about getting out of their car and walking a few feet has the biggest balls either.

    Doing UE in a Suburban

By that logic, we should applaud parents who bring their crying babies to the theaters for being economically prudent by not hiring a babysitter 😉

Beware of Dogs while delivering food.

This is why I carry an electronic zapper with me.

    Doing UE in a Suburban

Yep. And it was an older model. Probably 15+ years old.

    Doing UE in a Suburban

I don't know how you came up with that. Two things must be happening for that to be true. She's getting paid 2-3 times what the rest of us are for the same work, and she gets her gas for $1.50 a gallon. Your math is flawed, not mine. 1562672727 I'll add one more intriguing detail to the story...
