I saw this earlier as I was driving my passenger a long ways away. I know it's been posted about before, but no visual evidence. So when I saw it, decided to pop out the other phone to snap a quick pic to share with y'alls.

Why are you risking an expensive ticket for a pax?

In my state it's called the Passing Lane. Legally, it's only use is for passing cars in the right lane. Unfortunately, most people don't know that law and it isn't well-enforced, even though the staties sent out a PSA claiming that they would enforce it.
I've received this warning several times. Does Uber keep track of this and do anything about it? I try to stay around 75mph to avoid the warning on the app since idk if there are any consequenses & the sound honestly sounds bad & it doesn't look good to a customer who sees a red warning sign & hears a sound.

You guys have better names for it. I'm jealous. I wish people would go 90 in it. If people dont move over, I get in front of them and slow down to an almost stop. They will either hit me & pay for the damage or they will feel the frustration they caused. Either way they hopefully learn a lesson.
Sorry Im getting off topic now..!

It's happened to me a couple of times. The Uber Icon that overlays on top of your maps app will turn red and beep at you along with a number indicating your speed. Kicks in at 80 MPH. Certain highways in my market 80 is standard. Pax don't even notice because we are keeping up with traffic.

I don't think Uber does anything else other than give you a visual cue about your speed.

Next time I do this on the motorcycle, I will screen shoot it and post it. They didn't send me any hate mail when I kicked it up to a 140 mph.

There are days i'm on the toll road i'm going 14 over in the slow lane and there are people flying past me in the fast line like it's the autobahn.

There are some highways you can go 15 over without risking a ticket. But this is at 5:00 am on a weekday.

2:00 am on a Saturday, same road, i'm going 69 (70 MPH limit)

I believe OP is referring to the red pop up on top of waze, which is from the uber app as you can see by the uber partner logo.

    Racer X.

What I did was have a friend request me. Have her climb on board. And then peg it.

Fun ride. I'd do it now but I can't get anyone to get on the bike and go for 150 mph rip. For some reason they don't think it's "safe" to do in this weather. Go figure.

Next time I will figure out how to record it.
